Course aims

Re-assessment is undertaken through an open book multiple choice question paper for each unit.

  • Reassessed Reinstatement of Modular Surfaces and Concrete Footways (Reassessed Units 101, 102. & 108)
  • Reassessed Signing, Lighting & Guarding (Reassessed unit 102)
  • Reassessed Certificates of Competence for Supervisors
  • Reassessed Monitoring Excavation in the Road (Reassessed Units 101, 110 &111)

Certification: Examination papers will be marked and Learners given their results on the day. The pass mark for each re-assessed unit is 80% (8 out 10 questions correct). SQA will make certification to the successful learners. The qualification will then be registered with the SWQR (Street Works Qualification Register), and a skills card issued.

SQA Approved Centre
