Traffic Management Contractors: what are you doing to protect your workforce from manual handling injuries?
Manual handling training is widely delivered across the sector, but are the generic ‘off the shelf’ courses suitable for the types of activities required for traffic management works?
Traffic management is carried out in environments that are anything but generic — and the manual handling risks faced by operatives on the highway are fundamentally different from those in most other industries.

Lantra enforcing transparency for NHSS Training Provider ‘Third Party’ advertising – A positive move for the industry!
I hear of a new Training Provider popping up every other week, a basic website cobbled together, advertising dates on social media, offering X course or X assessment, at this rate or that, only to hear a couple of months later that a Company and/or Learner(s) have used them and not had their qualifications registered as they’d expected and paid for, and the person that conducted them has stopped taking their calls, or the provider no longer exists or something of a similar nature.
THE WAIT IS OVER!
We are thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new training hub in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire!
For years, our northern clients have travelled extensively to support us, and we are incredibly grateful for their dedication and loyalty. This new hub in Dewsbury is an opportunity to better serve those amazing clients, as well as welcome new clients from across the north, by providing easier access to our training services.
The hub will mirror all of the courses that we deliver at our Birmingham HQ, from entry-level TTMBC, through to M6, M7, LTMO, TMF and TSCO/TSS, as well as many more.
